If you’re looking for a beautiful outside garden and greenhouse venue for your wedding day in Amarillo Texas, look no further than the best one out there- The Resplendent Garden. Not only is the actual location stellar, but the owners are one of my favorites.

When you’ve been in the wedding industry for over 14 years you get to know a lot about the wedding vendors in your area, which mine happens to be Amarillo. I have just a few handfuls of vendors that I trust fully with my clients, and they are one of them.

The second I sat down with Kristi + Joey for their consultation in a coffee shop I KNEW we were meant for each other. Our personalities clicked and we laughed pretty much the whole time. I believe it is not only important for clients to click with their vendors, but for vendors to click with their clients. I don’t take every wedding that is inquired, but I knew we fit like a glove and couldn’t pass them up.

How the couple met- I went to volunteer at a Country Club for an event, I couldn’t find it and almost didn’t make it! I tried one more time on my old gps and finally found it. I was assisting in the basement with pastry and did not see him the entire evening. I went to the Chefs office at the end of the event to thank them and give them my card. I was about to leave the kitchen when he stopped me and asked me to come back! 10 years later here we are, I will never forget that moment!

Favorite memories from the wedding- The special moments with my grandparents (that wouldn’t have happened without my amazing wedding photographer that took the time to make sure we did this!) It was truly the most emotional and beautiful moment that I will cherish forever!

The Brides advice for new brides- Don’t worry about the little things that could change or go wrong! Put the phone away and just enjoy every moment through the night.
