Palo Duro Canyon
I had a rough go-round the early mornings of March 16, just hours before the elopement. I was out camping in Palo Duro Canyon so I could get up bright and early at 5:30 a.m. to start the hike under the Texas stars, this trail was going to take about 5 hours round trip to hike. I had gotten a phone call at 12:15 a.m. from my brother saying that my papa had passed away, so I grab my stuff, lock up the tent and head up to the hospital to meet up with my family. My friend and I returned to the campsite around 3:45 a.m. and I hiked that adventurous engagement shortly after.
It was so soothing, almost comforting. It was 20 degrees out and everything was frosted. My favorite part was after we climbed up the side of the canyon (that part suuuuucked), stood on the edge, saw the sun start to peek out with the fog rolling through the valley and coyotes yapping away.
Meghan and Luke picked out their favorite location and was up for an adventure the moment we had our consultation! They were so much fun and down for anything!
Meghan + Luke, thank you so much for allowing me to be a part of your special intimate ceremony on the edge of that cliff. You guys radiate beauty and fun, so this fit hand in hand to who you are as a couple.
