Kolby and I met in college at West Texas A&M University. Morgan Daves (my cousin) was in an organization called SAGE with Kolby and got to know him and introduced us. We went to the Baptist student ministries valentines dance and Kolby was our waiter at our table that night. The girls at his table left him a note and I jokingly told him to check yes or no if he liked me or not because why not Valentine’s Day was meant for cheesy things like that. He circled yes just being funny and not thinking anything of it. Later that night that George Strait song came on and we danced to it and went on our way. The longer time went we grew to like each other more and more and he eventually asked me to be his girlfriend. We have been together for three years and to this day we have kept those Valentine’s Day cards and the yes check mark! I pray I have many more Years to come with my sweet man! ❤️

My most favorite memory from our special day is both of us trying to keep it together whenever we saw each other that day and praying for the rain to pause for the ceremony!

My best advice for future brides is the day is so short make meaningful conversations don’t stress over the little things you don’t get to see them anyways! Everyone thinks you look beautiful no matter what and at the end of the day the celebration is being with your loved one for the rest of your life!

Brit was awesome in capturing the emotions of the day. She knows just the right moments to shoot pictures and makes every moment memorable. I had fun during my photo shoots with her and would love to have her capture more moments during my lifetime!

Haley’s bridals were by far one of my most favorite bridals. It’s not every day you get a bride that says “YES” to still shooting out in a storm instead letting it rain us out. The storm brought in hail and it didn’t phase us! I LOVE these images so much! Such a fun experience
