We have been trying to schedule these daggum engagements for MONTHS now due to COVID-19 and all the destruction that brought with travel and socializing. I was originally supposed to go photograph their engagements in Downtown Dallas Texas since they live there but even after Texas lifted their restrictions, rioting started happening so we all agreed and settled on the next best thing- Palo Duro Canyon summer sunset.

On the way to one of my favorite, cozy-hidden fields, we saw a rattlesnake crossing the road and of course I just had to get out and take a photo of it. Ulises didn’t even hesitate to jump on the bandwagon with me and he actually found it under some shrub. Of course we weren’t THAT dumb to get close or striking distance but it was really neat to see one since I have never encountered one out there in PDC from all my years of being there.
