It gets me freaking stoked when I get photographers who reach out to me about doing their family photos. Just even reaching out warms my heart and gets me super excited about what we could create together, even though when I gave her the RAW photos (sorry y’all, I only do this for other photographers for trade) I had to text her and apologize because I literally can not take a straight photo to save my life. Thank you Jesus for Lightroom to be able to crop those babies right up!
Tonya, the owner of 374 Photography, blows my mind in front of the camera. I could photograph her all day, even after she says she feels super weird and awkward! (news flash, you’re not…)
Can we just all agree that her whole family is just stunning? This is serious goals, even for birthing 4 children. I mean, even her husband, Justin, did a last-minute target run for the kids outfits right before the session! Amazing dedication right there!
I first started out by playing with the kids to get them to losen up and enjoy their time with me. I’d like to say that it worked but towards the end of the session, it got so cold that I’m pretty sure someone got frostbit. It was such a beautiful day today but of course, we live in the Texas Panhandle and tomorrow they are now expecting about 5 ft of snow. I’m crossing my fingers it misses us because I can’t stand snow.
Anywho- my most favorite part of this session was the kids’ laughter. When dad was tickling everyone and mom snuggled in her babies. This was truly genuine laughter from everyone. It allowed me to bottle up this moment of their life that they will never get back because tomorrow everyone will be one day older.
Tonya + Justin, thank you for having me! Your family was a blast to be around, and Tonya, I always enjoy seeing you!
