Just before November, I get an email from a local business owner telling me that all his daughters will be home for the holidays and he needs me to preserve something super special for him. We planned an adventure session in Palo Duro Canyon to photograph them along the cliffs at sunrise in one of my favorite locations. That morning my alarm went off at 4 am and as I went outside to check the weather the wind could have blown me over with rain hitting my eye. Now, I’m the type of photographer that if this were an adventure engagement session I would have done it anyway because I know how freaking amazing those photos would have been, but not for a daddy whose heart needed sweet photos of his little girls. We rescheduled on a month I take completely off and I’m so glad we did!
